This product is a comfortable cord dog lead with a specially designed lead belt which extends & retracts with a total length of 5 metres. This allows you to remain fully in control whilst your dog enjoys complete freedom of movement. The Flexi Comfort dog lead also features a robust braking mechanism, consisting of an uncomplicated brake button/brake lock, coupled with an automatic retraction mechanism. This product also features a soft grip handle so as to provide maximum comfort at all times. This product is suitable for larger dogs (50kg+).
Flexi dog leads operate smoothly in and out, enabling your dog to move freely. Moreover, the internal spring feature continuously keeps the cord,belt,tape under tension.
The Flexi comfort also features an incorporated braking system, which means you have complete control over the dog.
How to use a Flexi dog leads:
Grasp the flexi lead by the handle (Do not hold the lead cord, belt or tape)
To stop the dog lead
Push the brake button down firmly (using your thumb). The brake will stay locked as long as the brake button is pushed.
To Lock the Brake
To lock the brake, simply push the brake button down firmly and then using your thumb, push the lock forward. The dog lead will then stay at a fixed length. Make use of the permanent lock when you want your dog to walk to heel.
To Release the Brake Lock
In order to release the brake button, using your thumb you should pull back the lock, whilst slowly releasing the brake.
Pulling your dog back
If you move your arm towards your dog, then the Flexi lead should reel in automatically.
2. You should then hold the brake button down with your thumb whilst pulling your dog towards your direction
You should then repeat the first two steps in order to bring your dog closer to you.
